A struggling actor from Perth, Australia gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he's offered a juicy role on a Sydney cop show, only to find his big break compromised by a series of unexpected events. When Jacob landed a spot on one of the most popular television programs in Australia, he was ecstatic. A week before he's set to make his big debut, however, a series of unresolved offences surface to ensure that Jacob's ascent to stardom won't be a smooth ride. After a chance meeting a vulnerable young woman named Cheryl, Jacob's perfect world fast begins to unravel as he realizes that there's much more than his career on the line. In fact, Jacob's very life could be at stake should he fail to exercise extreme caution while tying up the loose ends in his life.
