Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
The six working class inhabitants of an apartment complex constructed when former President Ferdinand Marcos imposed a state of emergency in the Philippines serve as the focal point for this sober yet colorful drama from tireless director and all-around renaissance man Khavn. As the inhabitants go about their daily business and relay stories (directly into the camera on occasion), the viewer gradually becomes familiar with their uniqye, yet occasionally grim, outlook on life.
