Synopsis by Perry Seibert
The documentary Ocean Men explores the rivalry between Umberto Pelizzari and Pipin Ferreras, two expert divers who go back and forth breaking the record for achieving the deepest ocean dive on only one breath. The filmmakers utilize state-of-the-art underwater photography in order to relate how differently these two men experience their time under the surface, and also make it clear the pair are very different even though they share the same goal.
