Prolific pinku eiga filmmaker Koji Wakamatsu directed this tawdry softcore melodrama, which nonetheless attracted some attention because of its sex scenes, shot in color during a time when most Japanese erotica was filmed in black-and-white. The simple story of a romance, an affair, and the resultant complications, the film is of little interest even to Wakamatsu devotees, who tend to rank this contractual obligation piece for Kanto Eihai fairly low in the director's output of nearly 100 films. Seiko Wakatake co-stars with Ken Tanisawa and Miki Hayashi.
