Synopsis by Sally Barber
Mother Teresa and Her World provides a look into the life and work of the late Roman Catholic nun. Born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Macedonia in 1910, and founder of the Missionaries of Charity, Mother Teresa's humanitarian work among the poor earned her a Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. This award-winning documentary examines the spirituality of the internationally beloved figure and focuses on the role prayer played in her untiring service to the "poorest of poor" in poverty-stricken Calcutta and around the world.
