Synopsis by Phil Griffin
Directed and co-written by Dan Gabriel, this feature-length documentary takes a rarely seen look behind the conflicting cultures living side by side in modern day Iraq: those of the Shiite Militias, Kurdish Peshmerga, Christian Fighters and Sunni Tribesmen. Following the Tigris River to the north, Iraqi journalist Ali Mula covers the fight between the local militias and other inhabitants who join forces to take on the Islamic State, and take back their city. Original score by Photek.
