Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

The first installment of a multi-part documentary series, Monster Madness: The Golden Age of the Horror Film invites viewers on an illuminating journey into the era when the Universal monsters struck fear into movie-goers across the globe. Interviews with Forrest J. Ackerman, Christopher Lee, Janet Leigh, and film historian Gregory W. Mank, among others, reveal how such classic horror films as Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931), The Wolf Man (1941), and The Black Cat (1934) ignited an inferno of cinematic terror that still burns bright in the early 21st Century.
