Synopsis by Sandra Bencic
Punk rock may not seem conducive to Buddhist practice, but author/teacher Noah Levine is a devotee of both. After a troubled adolescence of drug use, crime, and incarceration, Levine found salvation through Buddhist meditation and now visits prisons and juvenile detention centers to help others do the same. This documentary from filmmaker Sarah Fisher profiles Levine's life and work for a study of personal transformation through the dual forces of music and spirituality.
