Co-directed by Marcia Jarmel and Ken Schneider, this documentary focuses on two talented brothers. Growing up in Havana, Afro-Cuban child prodigy Ilmar Gavilan left to study the violin in Russia at age 14. However, he never returned, but he lived in the U.S. and built a successful career as he based himself in New York. His brother, Aldo Lopez-Gavilan, grew into his own as a prominent jazz and classical pianist in Cuba. But the geopolitical embargo has long prevented the brothers from reuniting, much more playing together. The changing political climate soon revises that limitation.
