Review by Hans J. Wollstein

The trouble with Law for Tombstone is its denouement. Throughout the films, the covert Boss Villain, "Twin Gun," is described as the fastest gun in the west, or words to that effect, but the unmasking reveals a less than heroic gentleman who simply hightails it out of town. The casting of the role is also a bit of a problem since anyone who has ever seen a B-Western will be able to spot him immediately. That said, star Buck Jones remains his tough, no-nonsense self (despite the attempt at harmonizing) and Muriel Evans, as the girl he doesn't get, is as fetching as ever. Obviously a personal favorite, Law for Tombstone was the fifth of six Westerns Evans would do with Buck Jones.
