A gay, 5-a-side soccer team realizes they've got their work cut out for them when they're scheduled to take on the rowdiest, most ruthless team in their league for their very first match. Archer is a former military man who has just realized his longtime dream of assembling a gay soccer team. Dubbing his team Platoon F.C., Archer prepares to shatter athletic stereotypes while dispatching the competition. But when Archer learns that Platoon F.C. will play their inaugural match against the the dreaded Bethnal Reapers, the wind sinks out of his sails. The Reapers have a reputation as the most ruthless team around. Unbeknownst to Archer, however, is the fact that the Reapers are on the verge of getting banned from the league for violent play, forcing Reapers captain Adam to implore his teammates to exercise restraint on the field. Desperate to prove his team can survive a match against the roughest players in the league, Archer instructs the Platoon F.C. to strike first and strike hard. When the Reapers realize what they're up against, the rules go out the window in the struggle to emerge the victors.
