Synopsis by Rob Ferrier
In 1898, Secondo Pia photographed the Shroud of Turin, a cloth believed by many to have been the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. To his surprise, the image of a man appeared in the photograph, an image many identified as Jesus. The appearance of the image sparked furious debate over the authenticity of the Shroud, a debate this video covers in depth. Both sides of the argument are examined in detail, as well as the evidence supporting each point of view. Those with an interest in the history of Christianity or the secrets of the unknown will find this tape of value.
