Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Directed by Daniel Alfredson, this thriller is the third installment in a trilogy of films based on Swedish author Hakan Nesser’s crime fiction novellas. This film features Agnes (Carla Juri), a recent widow who is left cash-strapped. She runs into an old friend, Henny (Gemma Chan), who confides that her husband, Peter (Jamie Sives), might be cheating on her. Henny offers Agnes a lucrative proposal that would be beneficial for both of them: to kill Peter in exchange for the money Agnes needs in her life.
