Review by Karl Williams

This static, boring drama from director Mark Rydell takes an interesting premise and proceeds to do nearly nothing with it for the next two hours, as vapid characters search for answers to questions an audience could not care less about. Which of two gorgeous women should a fabulously wealthy architect choose between, against the backdrop of the geographically blessed Vancouver, British Columbia, region? Zzzzzz. Richard Gere, an exciting performer when he's fully engaged in the material, doesn't enliven this hollow drivel with his granite-faced performance (his hair seems to be his most potent acting tool). Meanwhile, poor Sharon Stone and Lolita Davidovich are lost in unmotivated characters whose reactions are dictated not by their personalities but by plot mechanics. Intersection makes so many wrong turns, it's easy to forget that the trip started out with a bad map in the first place: the film's wretched, inanely silly, and instantly forgettable script.
