Synopsis by Jinko Labitag
On March 31, 2018, famed journalist and politician Nikol Pashinyan started walking to Armenia’s capital, Yerevan, as a protest against the possible election of the country’s two-term president to prime minister. It took him 14 days to reach his destination, and within that time, support for his cause started to grow. Soon enough, the number of people backing him skyrocketed. I Am Not Alone tells the story of this triumphant struggle through on-site footage and interviews with significant figures. Directed by Garin Hovannisian.
