Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Most Hong Kong films are shot in Mandarin, and subtitled in written Chinese and English. This film was instead shot in Cantonese. The story concerns a con man (Liu Lu-hua) who robs from the rich and gives to the poor, accomplishing some masterful deceptions. The main target of his attentions is an elderly rich man (Chang Ying) who preys upon young women.
