Co-written and directed by Sonny Mallhi, this horror slasher film focuses on life in a small town in Texas during Halloween. The slowness of life in the farming town of New Caney is peaceful as Rose (Emily Van Raay) eagerly unites with her soldier husband, who has just come home from his deployment. They decide to do an age-old ritual of theirs, attending their town’s annual Halloween feature called the Haunted Hayride. However, as they finish their stint in the supposedly fictional scary ride, disturbing things get real as terror follows them home.
