Lionel Macomb (Steve Coogan) is a cynical, angry, right wing talk show host, prone to rant about the current socio-political landscape to his millions of listeners. A difficult man to be around, he is very close to losing the romantic interest in his life, Valerie (Neve Campbell), and losing out on ratings to his former protégé, Gareth Whitley (Skylar Astin). Enter his sassy and honest 16-year-old niece, Tess (Taylor Russell), who shows up out of the blue, and he is forced to rethink his career driven ways. Directed by Frank Coraci.
