Review by Buzz McClain

Why didn't anyone think of this before? Combine the shoot 'em-up action and hide-n-seek thrills of Die Hard with the blazing disaster effects and corny civilians-in-distress elements of The Towering Inferno. Actually, Heaven's Fire works pretty well on just about all levels, if one isn't expecting too darn much from a Fox Family Channel original (which has a surprising amount of shocking violence, although none of it graphic). Eric Roberts, looking pleasingly buff without his shirt in an early scene, and Jurgen Prochnow, as leathery and menacing as ever, have a good time chewing up the fiery scenery as the building crumbles around them. The production values are remarkably good, with plenty of flames, explosions and mano-a-mano fights to keep things moving. Better than average TV fare. But one question: What on earth does "heaven's fire" mean?
