Synopsis by Mark Deming

A guy with something extra hits the road in search of a more normal life in this outrageous comedy from Thailand. Kwan Traithep (Kiatkamol Latha) was born with three arms instead of two, and has seen both the positive and negative sides of his condition; he can sort mail faster than any of his co-workers at the post office and can carry big parcels with ease, but since childhood he's been dealing with bullies who take pleasure in pointing out his unusual condition. When Kwan learns that the tailor who has been making his special clothing has died and his girl friend leaves him for someone who can hug her in a more traditional manner, he decides he's had enough of being different and wants the extra arm removed. After seeing a television profile of a celebrated plastic surgeon in Bangkok, Kwan packs his bags and sets out to find him, convinced the doctor can make him into a normal man. As Kwan makes the long journey to Bangkok, he meets a fellow traveler with a similar complaint -- Na (Supaksorn Chaimongkol) was born with unusually large breasts, and feels like an outcast because of her outsized chest. Kod (aka Handle Me With Care) was an official entry at the 2008 Hong Kong Film Festival.
