Synopsis by Robert Firsching

This is another of Toshiki Sato's softcore melodramas concerning characters trapped in terrible situations, in this case a past tragedy which causes star Toru Nakane to consider suicide. Atypically for a Sato film, where the characters usually end up taking their own lives in various flamboyant and depressing manners, this one has Nakane triumphing over his past and being reunited with his lost love for a surprisingly erotic finale. The same year, Sato made a film about a man who goes on a shooting spree after his wife leaves him, so this is certainly a departure in tone, and Nakane is quite believable in the lead. Sho Sugimoto co-stars with Mina Hayase and Yasuo Kato.
