Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
Documentary filmmaker Janine Hosking turns her lens to the case of Schapelle Corby, an Australian woman found with ten pounds of marijuana conspicuously packed in her luggage while traveling through Indonesia. Facing the death-penalty for the offense, Corby maintains her innocence and victimhood at the hands of drug-smugglers. Meanwhile everyone on her side only works to hinder her case with their ineptitude. Ganja Queen had its premiere at the 2007 Slamdance Film Festival.
