Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Gospel music legend Fred Hammond captures the true essence of Christmas with this tale of a cynical Los Angeles businessman who has grown coldly indifferent to the holidays. James Jonathan Zaxby is a successful entrepreneur. Bitter towards God due to a past tragedy, the easy-going, self-made millionaire is on his way to a Christmas Eve meeting in New York City when his airplane is forced down due to bad weather conditions. Of course being the kind of guy who values his independence, James at first resents the fact that he is stranded in the small southern town of Cricket Fence and forced to rely on the locals for a warm meal and a place to stay. But there's something about the Hackett family in particular that leads James to reconsider his harsh stance on the holidays. Perhaps it's their unwavering optimism in the face of serious life obstacles, or their unfailing love for one another. But while it still isn't quite certain when James will take back to the friendly skies, the one thing that is for sure is that this will be the Christmas that gives him a whole new outlook on life, love, and the redemptive power of faith.
