There's not a lot of action in this bland outing, which is disappointing given the plethora of distinguished B-movie faces in the cast. Largely a showcase production for debuting, charisma-free bodybuilder Dan Anderson, Extreme Honor goes from one scene to the next in the most methodical manner possible, with nary a whiff of style or substance to sustain interest. Oddly, most of the rough stuff takes place off screen, until the brief shootout and fist-fight finale featuring action hero Olivier Gruner, who arrives way to late to save the day. It appears the script wasn't read until the day of the shoot -- how else to explain the instantaneous, chemistry-less romance that flares up between Brascoe and Samantha (Odile Corso), the reporter ostensibly covering Brascoe's case. Not likely. Someone was clearly looking for a way to include the obligatory sex scene, which in this case was misguided since it reveals Anderson's chest to be larger than Corso's.
