As a respected and internationally-recognized pianist, Claire (Marina Foïs) chooses to pursue her lifelong dream instead of raising children, a decision that her husband, Frédéric (Jonathan Cohen) avidly supports. However, when the pair embark on an international flight and witness the unexpected birth of a child, Frédéric begins to feel his paternal instincts growing, pushing him to resort to drastic measures to begin a family despite Claire's misgivings.
