Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
In 1989, the mysterious Lucy Fly (Alicia Vikander) makes her way to Tokyo to begin her expatriate existence, struggling to suppress a difficult history. She crosses paths with the handsome Teiji (Naoki Kobayashi), a photographer who also struggles with his emotions. The two enter a turbulent and intense romance which is further complicated by the arrival of Lily Bridges (Riley Keough). However, things take a turn when Lily goes missing and is presumed dead. Directed by Wash Westmoreland, based on the novel by Susanna Jones.
