Synopsis by Buzz McClain
Jake Thompson (Kevin Cotteleer) returns home during a break from Harvard only to learn his parents have spent his remaining tuition money on medical procedures for their insufferable poodle, Miko. That's just the beginning; mishaps are Jake's fate: He can't cut it as a door-to-door cutlery salesman for a cult-like company; he catches his girlfriend (Gina Doctor) with two of his best friends; he's arrested for being in a stolen car; the neighborhood is in an uproar over the suspicious death of Miko; and Jake's every step is chronicled by the local newspaper. With animal rights protestors picketing his parents' house, and with two women in a catfight on the lawn for Jake's affections, Jake decides to take action to change his luck.
