Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
Much of this unique Hungarian lesbian drama that chronicles the love affair between a social worker and a young mother is based upon the actual experiences of the lead actors. The film is set in working-class Budapest. Angi is the social worker. She is a straight-forward independent woman. She has several part-time jobs. One of them is to babysit for Ildiko who is separated from her spouse and must care for two little ones. One afternoon two women discover their mutual attraction for each other while they are tussling with the children upon they floor. Soon they are wrestling with each other. This is a new experience for Ildiko. Angi is gay, but she is reluctant to indoctrinate Ildiko into her lesbian ways. But the lovesick Ildiko persists and Angi becomes involved. Things are well until Maya, a prostitute and friend of Angi, begins getting too affectionate with Ildiko one night at a lesbian club. Angi is heartsick. During the evening a mobster's gun is passed around.
