A southern girl driven to insomnia after suffering multiple miscarriages is torn between her feelings for a handsome new neighbor and her commitment to her husband in this heartfelt drama starring Emily Carpenter and Sean Patrick Flanery. Davie Nance (Carpenter) longs to experience the joy of motherhood, thought it's beginning to appear as if that might never happen. Depressed after yet another miscarriage, Davie spies handsome new neighbor Clay (Flanery) as he moves in with his grandfather across the street. Clay has just come off a failed marriage, and he's looking for a place to nurse his wounds. When Davie and Clay strike up a warm friendship, their gossiping neighbors spread rumors that soon begin to affect Davie's marriage. Meanwhile, as Davie's free-spirited sister Lucy (Karla Droege) finds herself torn between her drug-dealing fiancée and wholesome suitor Alex Grayson (Brandon O'Dell), an unforeseen tragedy prompts Clay to come clean and admit the truth about his divorce. But that revelation only serves to strengthen the bond between the grieving pair, bringing about a bizarre twist of fate that prompts Davie to choose between her longtime desire to start a family and her burgeoning romance with the her sensitive new neighbor.
