A lonely 12-year-old boy befriends a highly advanced robot in this kid-friendly sci-fi adventure from producer Avi Arad (Spider-Man, Iron Man, and -Men). One of Kinetech Labs' top-scientists has just succeeded in developing a cutting edge search and rescue robot when he discovers that his invention will be repurposed for the military. Furious, he flees with the robot, which is badly damaged during the chase. Later budding young scientist named Henry repairs the robot, and names it Cody. Before long the boy and his robot have become best of friends, but the fun ends when the inventor locates the robot, and brings it back to the lab. Later, the inventor decides to return the robot to Henry, and falls in love with the young boy's mother in the process. Trouble arises, however, when Kintech goons kidnap the inventor and Henry's mother in an attempt to get the robot back. Now, it's up to Henry and Cody to rescue the inventor and Henry's mother, and expose Kintech's diabolical plan before it's too late.
