In the early 1980s, the streets of Bombay are suffering from the pervasive presence of gang activity. With unemployment at an all-time high, young men continue to be tempted by the get-rich-quick world of organized crime. When his sincerity interferes with apprehending suspects, officer Vijay Singh (Bobby Deol) is demoted by his crooked superiors and forced to oversee a police training facility in Nashik.
