As William the Conqueror prepares to invade England, enigmatic wayfarer Vidr challenges him to a game of Claang, revealing the unusual origins of the difficult strategy game to his opponent while simultaneously recounting the tale of Tyr, an ancient leader who once fought a battle that his opponents claimed was impossible to win.
