Hispanic director Vicente Aranda helms the psychodrama Celos (Jealousy - a penetrating character study of a man torn apart inside by a possessive rage. Daniel Gimenez-Cacho and Aitana Sanchez-Gijon co-star as Antonio and Carmen, marrieds-to-be whose future together begins to crumble before their eyes, when Antonio discovers a picture of Carmen with her former boyfriend. As Antonio digs into the past, relentlessly, in search of more information about the prior lover, his quest becomes a guiding force, and then, ultimately, an all-consuming obsession that threatens to destroy the sanctity and trust necessary for a stable relationship.
