Synopsis by Ben Schultz
This documentary examines the old-fashioned appeal of typewriters via a look at a struggling repair shop in California that's dedicated to servicing the machines. The film also includes interviews with typewriter enthusiasts such as actor Tom Hanks, musician John Mayer, historian David McCullough, and actor/playwright Sam Shepard, who reflect on their value in an age dominated by digital technology.
