Synopsis by Jinko Labitag
Utah (Jack Kilmer) and Opal (Alice Englert) are two junkies who roam and live on the streets of rural Ohio. One day, they meet Wood (Michael Kenneth Williams), and he brings them to Los Angeles to be rehabilitated. With the help of Dr. White (Melissa Leo) and May (Jessica Rothe), Utah gets over his addiction and is recruited by Wood and his mogul partner. Only then does he realize that the establishment isn’t really helping people—it is just a guise for a business preying on drug addicts. Written and directed by John Swab.
