Synopsis by Mark Deming

Five stories of love in Kuala Lampur, both romantic and familial, cross paths in this multi-character romantic drama from Malaysia. Dyan (Nanu Baharudin) is an architect who has enjoyed success in her career, but her love life is a shambles, having become the mistress of a married man who doesn't intend to leave his wife. Dyan dotes on her younger brother Dhani (Que Haidar), who has great talent as an artist but little drive in making anything of it. Dyan feels she should push her brother towards better things, but how hard? Meanwhile Dyan's business partner, Harris (Rashidi Ishak), thinks his life is just as it should be with his wife Airin (Rita Rudaini), a mistress, and a daughter who loves him. But Harris's house of cards collapses when Airin informs him she doesn't love him anymore and wants a divorce. Azlan (Eizlan Yusof) is a successful publisher who by chance meets Azura (Fasha Sandha), a lovely woman who is a clerk at a small bookstore. Azlan's attraction to Azura is immediate, but she's not so comfortable dating someone of great wealth and power. Arianna (Sharifah Amani) is a pretty young woman who wants nothing more than to fall in love. However, she hasn't had much luck finding the right man, and one day visits the city in hope of meeting Mr. Right. Arianna meets Taufiq (Pierre Andre), a friendly reporter who offers to be her guide, but is this charming stranger the man she's been waiting for all her life? And Elyas (Dato Rahim Razali) is a former teacher who has fallen into poor health in his later years. Elyas finds himself edging into a relationship with Rubiah (Fatimah Abu Bakar), a woman the same age who is drawn to his kindness and compassion, but Elyas has been alone so long he's forgotten some of the finer points of dealing with the opposite sex.
