Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
In the late 1970s, amateur American streetball player Aulcie Perry received an unprecedented opportunity to play professionally for the newly-formed Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball team after being recruited by a scout. As Aulcie's determination and humility earned the respect of his teammates, he led the squad to a number of European Championships as its captain. Later, Aulcie sought Israeli citizenship after converting to Judaism, reinforcing his commitment to supporting the nation in professional sports. Written and directed by Dani Menkin.
