Synopsis by Maggie Sadler

This documentary examines the ways in which the USA Gymnastics conglomerate's various seats of power both permitted and hid the physical and sexual abuse of countless young women at the hands of notorious figures including coaching duo Bela and Martha Karolyi and national team doctor Larry Nassar. The driving force of the narrative are candid interviews, raw footage, and the 150 victim impact statements spoken at Nassar's trial from the current and former athletes that USA Gymnastics depended on for their revenue, and the emotional impact such an initiative wrought on their lives.
