Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Noted filmmaker Koji Wakamatsu -- who gained notoriety in the 1960s for such Marxist infused soft core films as Go Go Be a Virgin a Second Time and Violated Women in White -- spins this hardboiled crime thriller. By day, Tetsuji (Ken Kaneko) works at a machinist shop making screws; by night, he's a low-level drug runner for a yakuza named Sasaki. One day, his deal goes horribly wrong; Tetsuji ends up robbed and Sasaki winds up dead. Realizing that it would be a waste of time to go after the killers, he hunts down the bagman -- an intemperate lad named Koga (Koji Motoba) -- and, thinking that he was in on the heist, almost disembowels him with a knife. But aftr Koga manages to convince his would-be killed that he was in fact also a victim of the crime, the two team up and figure out that that the real culprit was Koga's jowly boss Murakawa. Enraged, they attack the crime boss in his office and beat him within an inch of his life with a tire chain. Unfortunately, Murakawa lives and orders a hit on his two impetuous assailants, who quickly realize that everyone is against them.
