Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
As the art of the tattoo becomes increasingly commonplace in cultures where it was once frowned upon, two exceptionally talented ink slingers who previously avoided the spotlight for fear of being stripped of their street credit carry out an experiment that yields unexpected results. Unlike many artists simply seeking recognition, many skin ink specialists purposefully shun the spotlight in order to avoid being branded part of the "establishment." This is the story of two such artists whose experience with collaborative tattooing eventually prompted them to collaborate both on paper and on canvas. As the ArtFusion Experiment gradually gets underway, the enthusiasm of fans and fellow artists feeds in an exhilarating sense of creative energy that soon results in something truly profound.
