Ken Maynard's fourth Western for Tiffany Productions, The Arizona Terror is a typical early talkie featuring long stretches of action and riding sequences with no sound whatsoever. There are compensations, though, chief among them a wonderfully florid performance by Michael Visaroff, whose Russian accent hardly suggests a Mexican outlaw but is certainly a novelty. Maynard and his steed, Tarzan, meanwhile, are both in fine fettle and Lina Basquette remains one of the era's more fetching soubrettes.
