Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
The construction of the Belo Monte dam proves beneficial to some, but for an indigenous girl, she finds herself wholly at the mercy of a white man encroaching upon her way of life as the dam separates her from her people. Though what the man symbolizes may prove detrimental to her people, the girl must depend on him if she is ever to see her family again. Written and directed by filmmaking duo Sabrina McCormick and Soopum Sohn.
