Based on a true story, the drama focuses on Audrey’s misadventures in adulthood. After losing her seventh job, Audrey (Jena Malone) seeks solace in YouTube videos that keep her company on lonely nights. She soon stumbles upon the world of adult adoption and becomes enamored with the promise of a new family. She puts herself up for adoption, only to find an unlikely connection with a dysfunctional family led by cranky patriarch Otto.
