Review by Buzz McClain

This cheese is on fire, and it's beginning to stink up the theater. Director Jim Wynorski (using his Jay Andrews nom de plume) lines up B-movie star power for this routine outing with Cathy Lee Crosby, Pat Harrington Jr., and Edward Albert also in the cast. It starts off with a promising, if hackneyed car chase sequence featuring Jack Thomas (John Bradley) and Detective Denning (Ice-T) pursing a serial arsonist, but the scene turns out to have nothing to do with the movie. Ice-T doesn't appear again until the end, which will enrage what few people will check this out to see him. Overused fiery stock footage and a relentlessly melodramatic score dampen any possible sparks in this slackly cobbled potboiler. It's not terrible, but it's predictable and wan and could have been better.
