Synopsis by Olivia Cantor

Directed by Alana DeJoseph, this film tells the story of the Peace Corps, a volunteer program that sends Americans to various parts of the world. The aim is to establish a new concept of international relations while giving young people an opportunity to serve the U.S. The program has deployed over 200,000 volunteers who have immersed themselves in 60 countries since 1961. Today, as sociopolitical factors are rapidly changing, the Peace Corps is trying to strike a balance between maintaining its work and making itself relevant and attuned to the changing times. Narrated by Annette Benning.
