Mo McRae’s feature debut centers on a married couple facing an ethical dilemma. James and Vanessa are happily married, leading stable, successful lives. One day, they watch the evening news cover a police brutality crime involving a white cop. They’re shocked to find out that the cop is their neighbor Brian. The couple argues about whether they should confront Brian. What follows is a tense exploration of race, class, and injustice.
