A striking and intimate portrait of Gordon Parks, one of the most innovative and visionary on-staff photographers at LIFE magazine, who later branched out into the fields of filmmaking and novel writing. Pairing raw archival footage with candid interviews featuring some of the most noteworthy contemporary Black creators, documentary filmmaker John Maggio tells Parks' story in homage to the authenticity Parks captured in his working-class subjects.
