Directed by Michael Dowse, this Christmas family comedy features an adult Jake Doyle (Neil Patrick Harris) narrating to his daughter one unforgettable yuletide season during his youth. The memory takes him back to the late 1980s, a time when eleven-year-old Jake (Winslow Fegley) only wanted one substantial Christmas gift, the latest video game innovation called the Nintendo Entertainment System. However, his parents were against having video games at home. Thus, young Jake and his friends pursue various ways to get their hands on a unit. Steve Zahn and June Diane Raphael co-star.
