Synopsis by Daniel Gelb
A stunning documentary look at the 2012 murder of unarmed black teenager Jordan Davis at a Florida gas station, and the political and social fervor that surrounded the ensuing criminal case. On trial for the murder is white middle-aged Michael Dunn, who shot Davis after taking issue with the loud rap music coming from the car Davis occupied with his friends. Florida's controversial "Stand Your Ground" law is examined in full in this emotional documentary, which has been picked up for distribution by HBO.
