A top supporting actor of the 1920s, Tom Guise (born Thomas Sheldon Guise) had appeared on-stage opposite the likes of DeWolf Hopper, Frances Wilson, and Lillian Russell prior to making his screen debut with Triangle/Kaybee in 1915. Gray-haired and dignified-looking, Guise was often cast as soldiers, politicians, doctors, and attorneys and worked for all the major studios.
